40 Best Stops Between Nanjing and Fukuoka (2024)

Lotte World is a 3-in-1 adventure park in Seoul, easily accessible by subway. It's often compared to Disneyland and features a magic castle and two mascots, Lotty and Lorry. The park offers thrilling rides suitable for all ages, making it perfect for families. Visitors can enjoy familiar characters, movie-themed attractions like a swinging viking ship and magic balloon ride, as well as river rapids and carousels at the indoor park.

It was good and amazing place to be for whole day adventure. You must be free for whole day when visiting this adventurous land. You cannot fully enjoy in shorter time. So must visit.. It is a interesting theme advanture park.

Very fun place and lots of things to do and see. Great for the kids. It was very busy the weekend we went so wait times for popular rides were close to 2 hours! Decided not to ride those rides and stuck to the kids rides which were still 20-30 minutes. Due to the wait times, we didn't get to experience the more popular attractions. Food choices were good but not great. The atmosphere was probably the best part. Lots of people were dressed up and it was a great place for teens and families to hang out. Great location and easy to get to using the subway. Some advice, buy tickets in advance. There are discounts for locals so see if you can find someone local to purchase your tickets ahead of time.

My family and I enjoyed this amusement park. There were rides at the indoor and outdoor area. Food were easily accessible. The French Revolution, Comet Express and Atlantis were popular rides thus be prepared to wait for a long time for it. The trick would be conquer the rest of the rides and come back for it. Do keep a lookout for some kids who will try to sneak in to cut your queue. Their trick would be one of them will sneak in front and if he gets in successfully, after a while, he will pretend to call for the rest of the group to join in. Just kindly tap the person if he cuts queue and he would be quietly retreat back to his original queue line.Other than that, this is a nice place to spend the whole day at. Some even spend 2 days here!P.S (Just for tourists - Ask me how to get the tickets cheaper and also get easy access into the amusement park. You can even come out of it once a day to have a breather)

Adrian C — Google review

Overhyped theme park that costs so much and charges more on some rides. Too many people on the weekends so don’t go then. Fast pass is expensive as well. The pro would be good is still decently priced inside the park as well as the souvenirs. Crane machines are great though and staff is nice and friendly.

Fickenscher F — Google review

I'd say it's worth visiting at least once. I wouldn't go again but I enjoyed it for what it is. Definitely buy tickets ahead of time and get your "reservation" tickets for the rides that gives it. We saw a lot of kids and students sitting on the floor in long lines waiting as we walked by and handed our reservation ticket. It's free and efficient but you do have to go on the ride in that 30min window.

Pang X — Google review

Amazing 🥹. Bought my ticket for £23 on a website as its double on their official site. Some rides were busy but most had very reasonable wait times. On some like the Gyro bungee I could get on the ride straight away. Best ride is Atlantis with the longest waiting time of 50 mins, worth it. If you can afford it, the fast pass is worth it as its almost instant access to rides and it's like £40 on various websites if you look hard enough. Do not go when it's raining as I heard outside rides shut when it rains and that's where all the good rides are.

Samanta R — Google review

It's really enjoyable place with lots of different rides and food stalls. You'll enjoy for sure unless its not crowded with a big queue for every ride which was the case for me.

Sunita R — Google review

A magical yet mysterious theme park!It is the world’s largest indoor theme park and it is well-connected to shopping malls, cinemas, restaurants, a luxury hotel, and an aquarium. It consists of a huge multilevel indoor theme park with an ice rink and an outdoor amusement park known as ‘Magic Island’.The indoor theme park has a good selection of rides ranging from gentle to thrilling whereas Magic Island consists of mainly roller coasters and thrilling rides. Apart from attractions, there are frequent parades and performances which take place in the indoor theme park with the appearance of adorable Lotte World characters.Lotte World theme park is an ideal place for a family day out and would recommend spending at least two days to fully enjoy most of the rides on both parks. I would personally recommend the Hot Air Balloon attraction that travels along with the ceiling located in the indoor theme park. The balloon ride allows visitors to have a great top view of the entire indoor theme park!

Hot to die! Waiting lines are long! But we arrived on their day off (Sunday) so everyone was there. We still really enjoyed the place and we were a bit upset that we had to pay more money for some attractions inside.

Lorraine Z — Google review

It was a very unique experience. The queue times were a bit long for some of the more popular rides, ~ 30-50 minutes. The food prices were reasonable, but some of the directions were a bit confusing, in my opinion. Definitely recommend going with friends or family

STROKEMEFASTR — Google review

Wonderful and lovely Adventure Park. One day pass for sure won't be enough to cover all in one day but with magic pass you can cover most of it with special access.Had a lovely time with my family and my 5 year old kid enjoyed to the core.Lot of photoshoot places too ensure cameras are ready. Found vegetarian food options very less.Long waiting times on weekend but would presume only little difference if on weekdays.

Balamurugan M — Google review

Lotte World is a wonderland for children with imaginations brimming with magic. Stepping inside feels like entering a storybook, with whimsical rides, vibrant parades, and enchanting shows that bring fairytales to life. From soaring through the skies on Gyro Spin to twirling under the twinkling lights of the Carousel, Lotte World offers unforgettable experiences that spark wonder and laughter. However, the wait times for popular rides, especially during peak seasons, can test even the most patient child's enthusiasm. Hour-long queues are not uncommon for the most thrilling attractions, which can put a damper on the day's magic. Consider purchasing an Express Pass or visiting during weekdays to minimize waiting times and maximize your Lotte World adventure.

Eivon L — Google review

The park is definitely a must-see to all who visit Seoul Korea. It's the best theme park in the area! All the rides were amazing, though the lines can get quite extreme during the day, even on weekdays. The place is beautiful as it is and highly recommend for young and old 😊 I'd say it's worth visiting we enjoyed our short visit and would like come again one day hopefully. Definitely buy tickets ahead of time and get your "reservation" tickets for the rides. We saw a long lines of queing, waiting as we walked by and handed our reservation ticket. Worth a visit highly recommend 👍

As one of the largest indoor amusement parks in the world, coupled with a vibrant outdoor theme park, it caters to visitors of all ages, making it a perfect destination for families, friends, and solo adventurers alike. The indoor section, known as Adventure, is a marvel of engineering and imagination. Themed areas, such as Magic Island and Camelot Carousel, transport guests to whimsical worlds full of captivating rides and attractions. From thrilling roller coasters like the French Revolution to charming rides like the carousel, there’s something for everyone. The indoor space also houses a fascinating aquarium, an ice skating rink, and a multitude of shows and parades that keep the energy high and the smiles wide.

Tfbnkh N — Google review

Good economic park to visit with family. It has an indoor and outdoor park that makes it a great place to visit year round regardless of the weather. I would recommend buying the tickets through Trazy or Klook to save money.

Korea W — Google review

The theme park is pretty big with lots of rides and fully indoor, so you don't have to worry about the rain. Young children, in particular, would love it here as it's really catered for them. One regret I had was that I visited on a public holiday, so together with tourists, local Koreans and their families thronged this place. Wished that I had bought the Magic Pass to skip the queues as some rides, you will need to wait up to 2 hours long!

Winston C — Google review

Very nice place, especially for families with kids. Multiple rollercoasters (I recommend "French Revolution"), 4D experience, games, arcades, some live theater/music... Really a lot. We had normal pass and in the morning the queues were long, but acceptable. In the afternoon, rollercoasters queues became terribly long... I wish we had "magic pass"...

The shopping mall and theme park is a great day trip to do, it's huge! First part of the theme park is inside the mall with an ice rink and an outside park that is connected. Don't underestimate it and plan a day for it. I recommend to purchase the fast track ticket, but overall it is very nicely organized!

Vanessa V — Google review

Great amusement park with indoor and outdoor aspects. Seems to cater to a younger age group compared to Universal Studios but still worthwhile to visit. Beware that some rides have an additional charge on top of the entrance fee.

Alain N — Google review

Fun place for children and teenager, or first-time tourist. Nice place to take pictures. And good shops to get some snacks. But for adults late 20s and above, you run out of things to do really fast. 😅 There was a place to rent a wheelchair (for free) for my mother, which I really appreciated.

LY T — Google review

Great adventure place to play whole day but unfortunately there is no re-entry once you go out. But there are plenty of food options in the theme park would have love it more if they allow re-entry so that foreign visitors can do their shopping as well as play. The Happy Christmas parade was amazing for both 2pm and 8pm show

Jiayi X — Google review

This place has a lot of hidden attractions. We were a bit skeptical when we first got here and it might be boring if you didnt explore enough but once you find those hidden rides, the whole experience changes.Definitely get the magic pass if you’re a visitor. We got the 9-ride pass and saved a lot of time.Visited in July 2023

This is a really fun place to go with the family. It's great because it has both indoor and outdoor Activities and rides so you can enjoy it regardless of the weather. The rides are nothing compared to Six Flags theme parks in the USA. More like Disneyland level stuff.Overall, it is a very fun park to go to. I would suggest you by tickets in advance. There can be long lines. Navigating where to pick up the tickets was frustrating. Figuring out how to get the magic pass was also confusing. The tickets are pretty cheap, but the magic pass is about three times the ticket price. You get to jump to the front of the line for either 5 or 7 rides.Kids had a great time. Fun way to spend a day in Seoul. Very easy to get there from the subway.

Lotte World is a theme park operated by Lotte Group that offers entertainment and sightseeing opportunities for locals and international tourists. The park has two sections: the indoor Lotte World Adventure and the outdoor Magic Island theme park. In addition to this, it also comprises the newest shopping mall, folk museum, ice rink, hotel, and many other attractions. Lotte World Adventure is the largest indoor amusement park across the globe. It boasts exciting rides, beautiful parades, performances by artists and dancers, and eateries featuring food from around the world. The Folk Museum showcases miniature models of Korea from 5,000 years of history. It is a must-visit destination in Seoul, especially for families with children. We visited the park during our last holiday in Seoul and had lots of fun, although it felt a bit dated. We made unforgettable memories and would recommend it to anyone seeking a fun-filled experience.

Our family had a great time! When you visit Korea, Lotte World experience is highly a recommendation, especially if you're with your family (and kids or kids at heart).Going around May has an advantage. Outdoor attraction with more extreme rides and castle figures is open.On indoor attraction that is fully air-conditioned, parades, shows, 4D theater rides, and many more are happen. Washrooms, escalators, and elevators are available at every corner. There are food stalls and restaurants all over the place.I personally like the hot air balloon ride. You would really feel flying and will get a chance to see all the indoor facility.Lotte world's main entrance is at basement 1 where the Seoul metro is and all connecting to the beside malls. Lotte world is also near the tallest building (as of now), so you can see it when you're at the outdoor section. 😉

Awesome fun place! Huge with indoor and outdoor parts which is great when the sun is blazing hot or if it rains. They allow you to bring in food to consume at picnic areas if you don't want to spend on food from the eateries there. Go mid-week to avoid the crazy crowds. We went on a Wed and was still a little crowded with some popular rides needing waits of an hour or more.

Stella S — Google review

Clever amusement park that combines outdoor, indoor, subterranean, and above ground! It’s quite a mix. It has a few legitimate rides. It was BUSY and it was a weekday, but then I’m just visiting. The 7 ride magic pass was well worth it! Two rides alone it supposedly saved us 80 minutes each.

Joseph B — Google review

I went on a Monday and the place was absolutely jammed both the indoor area as well as the outdoor park. Tons of kids and teens. One of the interesting things I noticed is how many of the girls (and some of the boys) rent British-looking school uniforms while at the park). I didn't go on any rides but I loved the whole vibe. People were clearly having a great time. I bought my ticket online that morning and everything is extremely well-organized and the theme parks are easy to navigate. Even the parking lot attendant outside spoke English and directed me to the correct entrance (the Palaces should actually study what Lotte World is doing to make the booking and entrance experience better!!)

Irma Z — Google review

Amazing place! We went here on a Monday morning at 10:15am. If you plan to use the Discover Seoul Pass to enter the park, please remember to use the Wild Tour Gate to enter. You need to get an entry ticket - just show your Discover Seoul Pass to the ticket counter at the Wild Tour Gate and they’ll give you the entry ticket. This gate also has very little crowd compared to the Main Gate which has a long queue to enter. When we entered at 10:15am, there was no queue and zero waiting time at the Wild Tour Gate.Atlantis was an over-hyped ride. If you’re looking for a very thrilling roller coaster, I recommend French Revolution. The entrance to French Revolution roller coaster is on the second floor in the indoor section (not in Magic Island outside). I suggest you reach the park early and go straight to French Revolution first. Later on, by around 12 noon, the queue waiting time for the popular rides like Atlantis and French Revolution can go over 60 minutes. So make sure you do these fun rides first. There is also a fun parade at around 2pm in the indoor section - make sure to check information about the start timing and location early when you enter so that you don’t miss it. It is great fun to watch for children.

Arish020 — Google review

my kids have a lot of fun here. but one day seems not enough to try them all. if you arrive here, quickly book the baloon ride, than you can go around play the other rides. before closing usually there will be a parade show. there are some rides that need additional fee but not expensive. there is also a museum of korean history. the queue for each rides usually quite long but we are lucky that near the closing time, the crowd become lesser and we can easily ride most of the attractions.

Lenny L — Google review

(THERES ABSOLUTELY NO NEED TO PURCHASE THE EXPRESS PASS)Astounding how they managed to pack an entire theme park indoors, allowing it to operate year round no matter the season.Great rides and generally an enjoyable day trip. Gorgeous views during the cherry blossom season! We did not purchase the express pass and we managed to cover most of the rides including the popular ones. Save for money for tasty korea instead grub!

Vegas L — Google review

I am clearly biased because Lotte World is cherished part of my childhood memories, and I will love it here forever. It is certainly not big compared to Disney Land but has decent rides and good vibes. One caveat, Lotte World is packed with teenagers, and I recommend you get Magic Pass. We purchased 7 Magic Passes (which is the maximum number of pass you can get), and it was worth every penny. For example, the most popular ride, Atlantis, will take 2.5 hours to get in on a normal weekday without the pass. With the pass, we hit 12 rides (10:30am - 5p). Get all of those passes and tickets online (I did so on their Lotte World app), as there are only 100 of them each day, get sold out fairly quickly, and it will be difficult to buy them on the very day at physical ticket office.

Lotte World in Seoul is a fun place with cool rides. But sometimes, the lines to get on the rides can be really long, even on weekdays. They have something called a Magic Pass to skip the lines, but it's kind of hard to find where to buy it. Also, some of the rides might be closed when you go.It's not as big as you might think, but you can still have a good time. Just be ready to wait in line a lot, especially since the park closes early at 8 pm. If you want to go on more rides, it's best to go early in the morning. One thing to know is that you might have to book some rides in advance, and they might close the lines if it gets too busy. But they have other cool stuff like renting clothes and an ice skating rink. Make sure to stay for the parade show too.Overall, Lotte World is a fun place for kids who love adventures. Just be prepared for long lines and some rides being closed.

Jawwad D — Google review

Definitely was a good visit. Lines weren't too bad, kids got to ride everything they wanted and we got to eat some good snacks foods!! We didn't experience any problems this trip at Lotte World. Beat part was the kids got to go ice skating 🥶🤗😂 and they had a blast!!

Bobbi ( — Google review

I give Lotte World five stars as I look at it if I had slightly younger children. It would definitely be five stars for kids under 11 or 10 years old. For teenage kids it's a little less even though there's great rides. The problem is on weekends the wait times for the more adult rides are very long. I've heard and have been told that it's best to visit on weekdays if you can for shorter lines. Overall, The price is very reasonable and there's a lot to do there.

K C — Google review

This was definitely a cool place to take my kids. It was an indoor outdoor amusement park which is super clutch in the winter. There was something to do for all my kids of different ages. Definitely a must go if you’re in Korea with kids. Very entertaining

Leathon M — Google review

Various photo spots in this amusement park but the wait line for those famous spots (especially the carousel one) is INSANE!!! Careful with the rollercoaster one I took a pic of, hit the side of my head and it hurt for a while 😆. They’ve got cute shows and various food spots around the park!

Noemy C — Google review

The place is inside Lotte Mall..There are several entrances,so you can enter from any door..The place is big and spacious..There are many variations of rides to enjoy..If you bring kids,it's better to check the map for which rides are suitable for them..The map is comprehensive and detailed..There are indoor and outdoor attractions..There are also several restaurants or cafes and a gift shop..I went during a public holiday,so it was crowded with long queues for almost every ride..Overall,it was great 👍

Ferdika E — Google review

I was here 10 years ago and recently. It seems to me that nothing has changed. The lines for the attractions are long, and most importantly, not all the attractions are very interesting. There are much better attractions in the world.

Aleksandra M — Google review

Two parks in one. An inside all-weather park with a vast array of rides including 3D and 4D experiences, a 2-drop water log ride, monorail, etc. The outdoor Magic Island has a Gyro drop, Bungee drop, super fast roller-coaster, tree swings, etc. Vast food options for dining or snacking. If you are a tourist and have a Seoul Pass, go to the Foreign Exchange ticket desk.Immediately off of Jamsil Station on lines 2 (green) and 8 (red).

SPZ A — Google review

Fun indoor park that is cheap if you're a Disney World regular. Entry is like $60 and their express pass is affordable too along with food. Rides are decent to carnival level but it's a fun park because it is so unique. I would definitely go here again.
